"Chronos Project: Into the Shadows"

His last mission went wrong and he was declared unstable, leading him to deal with constant ambiguity as to reality in the game.

The IXTAB bar represents his mental stability, and when it drops below 40%, the main character begins to experience hallucinations and disturbing events. In this state, the player will have to deal with enemies that will try to kill him and face increasingly dangerous situations.

To keep the IXTAB bar above 40%, the player must go through the different spaces of the building and collect medicines scattered around the place. These medicines provide the main character with a temporary sense of calm and mental stability, preventing madness from taking over.

As the player progresses through the story, the main character's fragmented memories are unlocked, providing clues to his past and the events that led to his current situation. These memories may reveal the truth behind his conviction and unravel the secrets hidden in the abandoned building.

The presence of IXTAB, the Mayan goddess of suicide and madness, adds an intriguing element to the game. She can appear to provide comfort and help the main character maintain his sanity, but can also be a haunting figure that challenges the player and prompts them to face their worst fears and traumas.

The player will have to make difficult decisions throughout the story to keep the IXTAB bar above 40% and avoid falling into total madness. These decisions can affect the development of the plot and the fate of the main character.
